About us

A mum, her grown-up kid, and a lot of compost

Gardens of Edith is a proper family business, and it really is just the two of us. Edith has spent years turning every garden she's had into the loveliest one on the street. Her grown-up kid does the heavy lifting and keeps the diary straight.

We started this because we love it, and because we think everyone deserves a garden that makes them smile. You'll always deal with us directly, and you'll see the same friendly faces every time.

  • The same two of us, every single visit
  • Honest advice, even if it means less work for us
  • We turn up when we say we will
  • We leave everything tidier than we found it

A note from Edith

Hello, I'm Edith.

I've always been happiest with my hands in the soil. Gardening has been the thing I do to unwind for as long as I can remember, and now I get to do it for you.

Gardens of Edith is just me and my grown-up kid. There's no big company behind us, no call centre and no strangers turning up at your door. When you ring, you'll speak to one of us. When we come round, it'll be the two of us, a flask of tea, and plenty of care for your garden.

We're small on purpose. It means we can take our time, listen properly, and look after every garden as if it were our own.

Hope to meet you soon,

Edith
